Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ResinStudio mobile application ("App") operated by ResinStudio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using ResinStudio, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 13 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ResinStudio for personal or commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
3. Subscription Terms
Free Trial
ResinStudio offers a 14-day free trial for new users. No payment is required during the trial period. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Subscription Plans
After the free trial, ResinStudio requires a paid subscription:
- Monthly: $6.99/month, billed monthly
- Annual: $44.99/year, billed annually
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings:
- Open iPhone Settings
- Tap your name → Subscriptions
- Select ResinStudio → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period but will apply to subsequent renewals.
4. Refund Policy
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your ResinStudio purchase and request a refund
Refund requests are reviewed and approved by Apple, not by us.
5. User Content and Data
Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you create in ResinStudio, including:
- Mold designs and photos
- Supply inventory information
- Project details and costing data
- Invoice information
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not store your data on our servers or sync it to the cloud. You are responsible for backing up your data.
Data Loss
We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from:
- Deleting the app
- Device malfunction or loss
- Software updates or operating system changes
- User error
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ResinStudio to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Transmit malicious code or viruses
- Interfere with the App's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Use the App for fraudulent or misleading purposes
7. Intellectual Property
ResinStudio and all related content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, design, text, and graphics) are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
- Calculations or results will be accurate
You use ResinStudio at your own risk. We are not responsible for any errors in calculations, pricing decisions, or business outcomes resulting from your use of the App.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
- Damages resulting from errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the App
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of ResinStudio
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of others
- Your business decisions based on information from the App
11. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time
- Add or remove features
- Update the App to fix bugs or improve performance
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes, but we are not obligated to do so.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on this page
- Updating the "Last updated" date
- Sending an in-app notification (for significant changes)
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to ResinStudio at any time, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Any other reason we deem necessary
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App ends immediately
- You must delete the App from your device
- You will not receive a refund for any unused subscription time
14. Third-Party Services
ResinStudio uses third-party services for subscriptions and analytics:
- Apple App Store: Processes all payments and subscriptions
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status
- PostHog: Anonymous analytics
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of California.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of ResinStudio.
